Distributing Aid to Penyengat Island, Isdianto: July is Targeted Riau Islands Free of Covid-19

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -Head of Riau Islands Covid-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force, Isdianto handed over food aid to Penyengat Island.
The handover was carried out in courtyard of Sultan Penyengat Great Mosque Hall, Tanjungpinang, Thursday (05/14/2020).
The staple foods come from banks and state-owned enterprises (BUMN).
Where the provincial government in advance asked them to take part in helping to ease the burden on the community.
"Because together we will be strong, we will go through and overcome together this Covid-19 problem so that it will soon disappear in Riau Islands," said Isdianto, who is also the Acting Governor of Riau Islands.
On that occasion Isdianto explained that the food assistance was not merely a matter of easing the burden on the underprivileged.

More than that, the aim is to reduce the frequency of residents leaving the house.
"With this food, people do not need to leave the house, but if it is urgent to wear masks and keep a distance," he ordered.
He also reminded the public that the discipline factor could break the chain of virus spreading.
For this reason, he hopes that the public will be more disciplined in carrying out the appeal issued by the regional and central government.
Isdianto said that along with the Task Force, he was optimistic that Riau Islands would be free from Covid-19 in July.
However, this can only be obtained with the condition that all elements of society want to play an active role.
"Our desire is certainly the safety of the community.
Because the one who can overcome this is ourselves with discipline, "he added.
He appealed, if there were people who really needed food, but he could not yet ask to deliver it immediately.
"If later there are people who have not received even though they need to convey it immediately, we will act on it later," he concluded.
Through a written statement, Acting Mayor of Tanjungpinang, Rahma was grateful for a number of food assistance provided, both from the provincial government and the banks in Tanjung Pinang.
A total of 150 food packages originating from the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds were received by Penyengat Island community.
The assistance came from Bank Bukopin and Bank Riau Kepri.
Provincial Government also handed over the aid of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of 300 pax masks.
Present on the occasion were Secretary of Regional Secretary TS Arif Fadillah, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Riau Islands Burhanuddin, Head of Social Affairs Doli Boniara, Head of Communication and Information Center Zulhendri, Karo of Economy Heri Andrianto and Expert Governor of Herizal Hood.
