TRIBUNBATAM.id - The manager of the Indonesian shopping center is preparing to re-operate the mall or shopping center in Jakarta. Malls in Jakarta have stopped operating since the Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in early April 2020.

Chairman of the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) DPD DKI Jakarta, Ellen Hidayat revealed, there are 60 malls or shopping centers that will return to operations on Friday (05/06/2020).

"In the meantime, there are four malls that open on Monday (6/8/2020), namely Grand Indonesia, Teras Benhil, Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading, and Sunter Mall," Ellen said, as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Monday (25 / 5/2020).

The re-operation of this shopping center refers to the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 489 of 2020 concerning the extension of PSBB in Jakarta

In that regulation, the Governor of DKI Jakarta stated, the PSBB was only extended for 14 days from May 22, 2020 to June 4, 2020. This is the third extension of the PSBB in Jakarta since it was first applied.

In a press conference on Monday (5/25/2020) at the National Disaster Management Department (BNPB) Building, the Governor of DKI indicated that he would not renew the PSBB and prepare for the new normal or new normality.

The reason is, the handling of coronavirus infection cases in Jakarta is far better than the beginning of the attack in March.

These are the 60 malls that will reopen on 5 June 2020:

1. FX Sudirman

2. ITC Mangga Dua
