Malls and Markets Open when 'New Normal', Are you Sure Wanna Shop for Fashion?

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  One of the sectors that will be re-opened during the New Normal phase is trading, such as malls and markets.

The community can go back to shopping for various needs there, one of which is fashion.

Nevertheless, the government still makes regulations that must be obeyed by the community, so that efforts to break the chain of the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) continue.

The effort is in accordance with the meaning of new normal which, according to the government, means to act productively, but it still ensures safe transmission from Covid-19. 

Then, what about shopping activities in the market, supermarket, or mall? The government has issued Circular (SE) Minister of Trade No. 12 of 2020.

The SE which was published on Thursday (05/28/2020) contained the recovery of trading activities during the Covid-19 pandemic and New Normal.

Some of the provisions that must be carried out in shopping areas include traders must wear masks, face shields, and gloves.

Furthermore, the queue at the shop is limited to 10 people with a distance of 1.5 meters, requiring buyers to wash their hands, as well as limiting store hours and the number of visitors. 

Of course, the new rules make shopping activities less fun before the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, these rules must still be obeyed to break the chain of the spread of the virus that attacks the respiratory organs. 

Shopping for fashion from home is a solution

The existence of various rules in the shopping center when new normal like that clearly makes shopping activities, especially fashion becomes less comfortable.

Therefore, it is better if shopping is done at home via online. Moreover, shopping is not a priority that requires someone to leave the house.

In addition, currently there are already leading e-commerce companies in Indonesia, such as shopee, which makes online fashion shopping activities from home even easier.
