Got Many Greetings on his Birthday, Jokowi Gratitude to the Community

TRIBUNBATAM.id - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) thanked all those who had given him a birthday wish which fell on Sunday (6/21/2020).

Jokowi wrote his remarks through his social media accounts both Twitter and Instagram.

Not to forget, he also uploaded a photo while on a plane while waving.

"Thank you for all the attention and prayers that were given to me today," Jokowi said in his upload. 

Jokowi, who has his 59th birthday, said that every day his birthday arrives on June 21, then all he can do is give thanks.

Not only to himself but also to his family.

"Every time I get older, I can only give thanks to Allah SWT for his blessings to me and my family," he wrote.

"May we all always receive protection from Allah Almighty," he continued.

Some figures who wish Jokowi a happy birthday through social media include Pertamina's Chief Commissioner, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani. 

Jokowi was born in Surakarta on June 21, 1961 to Sudjiatmi and Noto Mihardjo.

He was blessed with three children, namely Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Kahiyang Ayu, and Kaesang Pangarep from his marriage to Iriana Joko Widodo in 1986.
