Covid-19 Update in Riau Islands, Positive Confirmation Cases in Batam Increase by 11 People

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The number of Covid-19 positive confirmed cases in Batam increased by 11 people on Saturday (15/8/2020).

This is based on updated data from http://corona.kepriprov.go.id/.

Apart from Batam, positive cases of Covid-19 in several other areas in Riau Islands have also increased.

Like in Karimun, there were 8 new cases of Covid-19 confirmation, Bintan added 3 new cases of Covid-19 confirmation, and in Tanjungpinang there were 1 new cases of Covid-19 confirmation.

Seeing this data, the trend of Covid-19 cases in the Riau Islands region tends to increase and there may still be additions.

The total number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 until Saturday reached 650 people.

Of these, 417 patients had recovered (discarded) with a percentage of 64.2%, confirmed that being treated was 205 people (31.5%), and confirmed death was 28 people (4.3%).

Meanwhile, there were 355 suspect cases, and 2039 suspects were discarded. The number of specimens under examination was 273.
