TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 case in the Riau Islands region is still growing. In recent weeks, the trend of the development of Covid-19 in Riau Islands has tended to increase. 

This can be seen from the updated data, on Friday (21/8/2020) at https://corona.kepriprov.go.id/. The total number of cases of Positive Covid-19 Confirmation reached 712 people. 

Of these, 462 patients had recovered (discarded) with a percentage of 64.9%, 219 people were being treated for confirmation (30.8%), and 31 people were Confirmed Death (4.4%). 

Meanwhile, there were 168 suspected cases, and 2095 suspected Discarded cases had been completed. The number of specimens under examination was 38.

Confirmed: 26
Hospitalization / isolation today: 15/0
Confirm discarded: 11
Died: 0

In Karimun Regency, there have been 5 more people and are currently undergoing treatment at Muhammad Sani Hospital, namely patient numbers, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616.

Confirmed: 434
Hospitalization / isolation today: 27/60
Confirmation discarded: 322
Died: 25

Batam's cumulative data outside the Kelud cluster are 29 cases, PMI cluster 32 cases and trace cluster 9 cases.

In Batam City, an additional 17 people were confirmed with details of treatment at the Embung Fatimah Batam Hospital, 6 people, 1 person at Awal Bros Hospital, 9 people in isolation at RSKI COVID-19 Galang Batam and one person died.
