Covid-19 Update in KEPRI Region; Karimun Adds 5 New Cases, Total in KEPRI Reaches 712 People

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 case in the Riau Islands region is still growing. In recent weeks, the trend of the development of Covid-19 in Riau Islands has tended to increase. 

This can be seen from the updated data, on Friday (21/8/2020) at https://corona.kepriprov.go.id/. The total number of cases of Positive Covid-19 Confirmation reached 712 people. 

Of these, 462 patients had recovered (discarded) with a percentage of 64.9%, 219 people were being treated for confirmation (30.8%), and 31 people were Confirmed Death (4.4%). 

Meanwhile, there were 168 suspected cases, and 2095 suspected Discarded cases had been completed. The number of specimens under examination was 38.

In Karimun Regency, there have been 5 more people and are currently undergoing treatment at Muhammad Sani Hospital, namely patient numbers, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616.

Batam's cumulative data outside the Kelud cluster are 29 cases, PMI cluster 32 cases and trace cluster 9 cases.

In Batam City, an additional 17 people were confirmed with details of treatment at the Embung Fatimah Batam Hospital, 6 people, 1 person at Awal Bros Hospital, 9 people in isolation at RSKI COVID-19 Galang Batam and one person died.

Covid-19 update in Batam

Meanwhile, the latest confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Batam City increased by two people, on Friday (21/8/2020). Both are male.

Both were recorded as confirmed cases number 437 and 438.

This data is the result of a swab examination by the BTKLPP Batam analyst team based on the findings of new cases and the results of tracing in Batam City.
