Forced Pick-Up Action of Covid-19 Patient's Body in Batam, 12 of Them are Now Exposed to Coronavirus
Previously, the forced repatriation of the Covid-19 patient's bodies in Batam, Riau Islands, was repeated last Wednesday (19/8/2020).

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - A total of 12 people who were involved in the forced repatriation of the patient's body case number 433, was confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
Head of the Batam Health Department, Didi Kusmarjadi confirmed this and the 12 people, said Didi wasn't included with Hertina Linda, a colleague who escaped when she was being evacuated to the Galang Island Covid-19 Hospital.
"It's true, for now, there are 12 confirmed positive Covid-19 from a total of 24 people who pick up," said Didi by telephone, Sunday (23/8/2020).
Of the 24 people, only 23 people had their swabs taken, meanwhile, one more person is still in search.
However, Didi admitted, so far the Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team is still trying to track down, so that one person who escapes, namely Hertina Linda, can take her swab immediately.

This time, it happened in the morgue of RSBP Batam Sekupang, where dozens of families forced them to bring home the body which was then in the morgue of RSBP Batam.

The body that was brought home by the family was case number 433, who was a man with the initials YHG (47) and lived in the Tiban Bukit Asri housing estate, Tiban Baru Village, Sekupang District, Batam.
Although it was forcibly taken by the family, however, because the results of the swab of the body were tested positive for Covid-19, the body was brought back to RSBP Batam.
And the body was carried out according to the Covid-19 protocol.
They brought the body to the funeral home because the family didn't want to wait for the results of the swab, so the next day, after the results of the swab came out, the body was immediately picked up again.
Not only that, the Task Force Team has carried out tracing of 23 people involved in the forced pick-up process, and currently, these 23 people have been quarantined at the Galang Island Covid-19 Hospital for a swab examination. (*)
