4,071 New Covid-19 Cases Spread in 32 Provinces, DKI Jakarta Records the Highest Increase

The government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (22/9/2020). Here's the detail.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 case on Tuesday (22/9/2020).

Based on data shared by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, there were 4,071 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19.

The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB Monday (21/9/2020) until 12.00 WIB on Tuesday.

So that accumulatively, there are 252,923 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date. 

The number of additions was obtained from the results of examining 43,896 specimens in the last 24 hours.

Based on this data, new cases of patients who have been confirmed positive for Covid-19 are spread across 32 provinces.

From this data, there were five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.

The five provinces are DKI Jakarta (1,236 new cases), West Java (575 new cases), East Java (341 new cases), Riau (253 new cases) and Central Java (228 new cases). 

Meanwhile, the overall transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 494 districts/cities in 34 provinces.

In addition, there are two provinces where there were no new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, namely Jambi and Central Kalimantan.

Then, the government also noted that there were an additional 3,501 patients who had recovered.

Thus, the total number of patients recovered from Covid-19 was 184,298 people. 

In addition, there are 160 additional patients who died after previously testing positive for the coronavirus.

Thus, the number of patients who have died due to Covid-19 to date is 9,837.
