UPDATE: Increasing 4,465, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia now Reached 257,388

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  The journey of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is considered by a number of parties to have entered a very worrying stage.

New cases have exceeded 4,000 patients a day, and yesterday, the death toll reached 160 people a day.

Then, the government has now stated that coronavirus transmission still occurs in the community.

This can be seen from the high number of new Covid-19 cases, which are over 4,000 patients.

Based on data until Wednesday (23/9/2020) at 12.00 WIB, the government stated that there were 4,465 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

The addition has led to the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now at 257,388 people, starting from the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020. 

The 4,465 new cases are a record for the highest addition of Covid-19 patients in a day during the pandemic.

This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data submitted to journalists on Wednesday afternoon.
