TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 cases in Riau Islands are still experiencing an increase in new cases until Saturday (26/9/2020).
Reported from the official website of Riau Islands Covid-19 Handling Task Force, there were 21 additional patients confirmed positive for corona.
From the map of new cases distribution, 13 of them occurred in Batam and 8 others in Bintan.
With the addition of new cases, the total Covid-19 cases in Riau Islands became 2,078 cases.
The Provincial Task Force Team stated that Batam city is still a red zone.
To date, a total of 1,464 people confirmed positive.

There were 151 suspected patients.
Meanwhile, 291 people underwent the treatment process, while 318 people were isolated.
For patients who recovered as many as 813 people and died as many as 42 people.
Tanjungpinang City is currently in the orange zone with 288 confirmed positive patients.
There were 63 suspected patients.
For those who underwent treatment as many as 8 people and those who did isolation as many as 14 people.
Until now, 259 patients have recovered and 7 people died.
Bintan Regency is also included in the orange zone with 44 suspect people, confirmed 179 people.
As many as 15 people are currently being treated and in isolation today as many as 55 people.
There are 106 positive Covid-19 patients who recovered in Bintan and 3 died.
Karimun Regency is included in the yellow zone with 1 suspect person, confirmed as many as 39 people.
For the middle of being treated by 1 person.
So far, 37 people have been declared cured and 1 person has been declared dead.
Lingga district is currently declared a yellow zone with 1 suspect, 3 positive confirmations.
In the middle of the treatment of 2 people and one patient was declared dead due to Covid-19.
Natuna Regency is categorized as a green zone with one suspec patient.
Meanwhile, Anambas district is also declared a green zone.
