Corona Virus Update in Batam: Added 28 Covid-19 Positive Patients, Total 1.862 Cases

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 in Batam continues to experience the addition of new cases.
Data from Batam City Covid-19 Task Force, it was noted that there were an additional 28 people confirmed positive for Covid-19.
Of the total 28 cases, 21 of them are private employees.
Apart from private employees, data also shows that Covid-19 attacks students, health workers and housewives (IRT).
The addition of new cases of positive corona patients has made Covid-19 cases in Batam become 1,862 patients.
"This data is the result of a swab examination by Batam BTKL-PP Class I Laboratory Analyst Team and Covid-19 RSKI Laboratory Analyst in Galang based on the results of new case findings and tracing results," said Batam City Covid-19 Task Force Head of Health and Health Sector Kusmarjadi in a statement received by TribunBatam.id, Sunday (11/10/2020).

Of the 28 new cases of Corona, 15 were male, while 13 were female.
Didi assessed that the increase in the number of positive Covid-19 patients in Batam City was due to decreased public awareness in implementing health protocols.
This will allow the re-growth of Covid-19 cases related to these various clusters, or new cases that have occurred both from local and imported transmissions.
