Pemko Batam Supports IT-Based Investments,Investors Can Build Businesses Using Free Land For 5 Years

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Ad-interim Mayor of Batam, Syamsul Bahrum said, Batam should be made as Batam Digital Island, Batam Metropolis and IT-based.

Don't let the industry develop quickly, but the mentality of the bureaucracy and the people  is far behind. 

"We hope that the Chairman of the Batam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) has an integrated area. All Korean investors have an industrial area," said Syamsul, Wednesday (14/10/2020).

He admitted that the digital industry must be implemented. In 2021, Batam will become Batam Digital.

In the presentation, many investors will invest. There will be many companies investing.

He continued, there were 12 investors who presented high technologies. He hopes that after this meeting there will be an IT-based team work. 

According to him, this investment is a big investment. And export oriented.

In this meeting, it was followed by the signing of a collaboration between PT Jaringan Akses Data Indonesia and PT Indonesia Optik Technologies. 

Initiated by Kadin Batam, and Pemko Batam that act as the Government and supports this investment activity.
