Batam Adds 42 Covid-19 New Cases, Seven Districts with Red Zone Status

Corona virus positive patients in Batam have increased to 42 people. Seven sub-districts in Batam also still have Corona virus red zone status.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Corona virus positive patients in Batam have increased to 42 people.

The addition of this Covid-19 case brings the total Corona cases in Batam to 2,062 people.

Seven sub-districts in Batam also still have Corona virus red zone status.

This is known from the map of the current situation of the distribution of patients from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team in Batam.

A number of sub-districts include Bengkong District, Batam Kota District, Lubuk Baja District, Sekupang District, Sei Beduk District, Batuaji District and Sagulung District.

For Batu Ampar District and Belakang Padang District, they still have the status of the yellow zone for the spread of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Nongsa District has the status of the orange zone.

Two other sub-districts, Galang District and Bulang District have green zone status.

"Yes, the list is waiting for release," said Head of Batam City Health Department, Didi Kusmarjadi, Friday (16/10/2020).

Didi revealed, of a total of 2,062 Covid-19 patients, 1,677 of them recovered from Covid-19.
