UPDATE October 28: Add 4,029, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Reach 400,483

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government shows that the transmission of the coronavirus to this day, Wednesday (28/10/2020), is still high in the community.

This can be seen from the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, based on data as of Wednesday at 12.00 WIB. 

Government data shows that there have been 4,029 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 

This addition causes the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia currently reach 400,483 people, starting from the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.

This information is based on data from Kemkes.go.id on Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, as many as 4,029 new cases of Covid-19 were discovered after the government examined 40,572 specimens a day.  

Even though the number of cases continues to grow, hope arises with the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered.

In a day, it is known that there are an additional 3,545 Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the coronavirus

They have declared cured based on examination with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method which showed negative results for Covid-19. 

Thus, the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients has now reached 325,793 since the beginning of the pandemic.

However, sad news still exists with the increasing number of Covid-19 patients who have died.

In the period 27-28 October 2020, 100 patients died.

Thus, the death rate due to Covid-19 in Indonesia reached 13,612 people. (*)
