Bintan Zero Additional Covid-19 Cases Today, Total Only 204 Covid-19 Patients

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Good news comes from Bintan Regency regarding the development of the Covid-19 cases.

According to data on the development of the Covid-19 cases in the Riau Islands Province as of October 26, 2020, there were no additional cases in Bintan Regency. 

The data recorded that there were 204 Covid-19 cases in Bintan. Of the total number, 188 patients recovered and 5 patients died due to Covid-19. 

Meanwhile, the number of active cases that are still under treatment and undergoing independent isolation is 11 cases. 

Previously, the Head of the Bintan Health Department, dr Gama AF Isnaeni said, there were additional Covid-19 patients who recovered in Bintan from a total of 202 cases of Corona, Thursday (22/10).

In addition to the addition of recovered patients, Gama also said there were an additional 5 cases of Covid-19 in Bintan Regency.

The five of them are residents of East Bintan District, and 4 patients with the initials Nu (45), Npm (7) Ha (2) and Pip (12) are close contacts with patient number 193 with the initials Ma who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on October 14, 2020 . 

Meanwhile, 1 patient with the initials LL (56) was confirmed with a travel history from Medan and have a reactive test result. 

Gama also said, of the 5 people who were confirmed positive for Covid-19, only one person experienced symptoms of diarrhea and cough. 

With the addition of cases, Gama also didn't forget to appeal to the public to obey discipline in implementing health protocols in daily lives.
