UPDATE December 5: Adding 6,027, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Now Reached 569,707 People

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Indonesia is still growing.

Based on data compiled by the government, until Saturday (5/12/2020), there were an additional 6,027 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 

The addition has caused the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to now reach 569,707 people. 

This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data received by journalists on Saturday afternoon. 

Data can also be accessed by the public via the Covid19.go.id and Kemkes.go.id sites, with information updates appearing every evening.

Despite the addition of new positive cases of Covid-19, the government also reported on the addition of patients who recovered from Covid-19. 

In the same data, there were an additional 4,271 Covid-19 patients who had recovered and were deemed to no longer have the coronavirus. 

They were declared cured based on laboratory tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, which tested negative for the coronavirus. 

Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered to date is 470,449 since the beginning of the pandemic. 

However, sad news continues with the addition of Covid-19 patients who have died. (*)
