TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government seems unable to control the rate of transmission of the coronavirus, after the pandemic has been running for more than 10 months.
This can be seen from the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the country. In the last 24 hours, there were 8,854 new cases of Covid-19.
Thus, based on data on Wednesday (6/1/2021), there have been a total of 788,402 cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia, starting from the time the first case was announced on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the government through data received by journalists on Wednesday afternoon. Data can also be accessed by the public via the Covid19.go.id website.
Covid-19 cases have been recorded in all provinces in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua.
In detail, there are 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces that recorded the transmission of the corona virus. This amount is equivalent to more than 99 percent of the entire territory of Indonesia. (*)
