Covid-19 Vaccination has Started, Jokowi Reminded People to Stay Discipline of Health Protocols
With the commencement of vaccinations, President Joko Widodo continues to remind the public to be disciplined in implementing virus prevention health.
"We must continue to do this, wear masks, wash our hands, keep our distance, and avoid crowds," he said.
Apart from providing protection for public health, vaccination is also expected to help accelerate economic recovery.
The Covid-19 vaccine used has been confirmed safe, because it has received an emergency use authorization (EUA) from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
In addition, vaccines have been declared halal by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).
"We express our deepest gratitude," said Jokowi.
