Domestic Shipping at Harbor Bay Port Gradually Recovers, Here is the Schedule

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Domestic route shipping in Harbor Bay is gradually recovering.

A number of prospective ferry passengers were seen queuing at the entrance of the port terminal with destination to Karimun Regency. 

Before being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, there were six shipping on the Batam-Karimun route. 

Now, there are only three scheduled departures in one day. 

Apart from 9 a.m., there are sailing schedules at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. WIB. 

This schedule also applies from Tanjung Balai Karimun to Harbor Bay Batam. 

Meanwhile, the price is still the same, namely Rp. 120 thousand for one trip. 

The travel time from Harbor Bay Batam to Tanjungbalai Karimun is approximately 90 minutes.

This condition can be faster depending on the conditions of the weather.

A ferry ticket seller, Rina admitted, if the turnover of ticket sales began to gradually improve. 

She revealed, there are 60 to 70 passengers in one departure. 

Based on Tribunbatam.id's monitoring, several prospective ferry passengers were queuing at the entrance of the Harbor Bay Batam terminal.

One by one, the passengers queued for temperature tests by the health workers on duty at the port.

Until 13.05 WIB, several prospective passengers began arriving. They were about to go to Karimun Regency at 15.00 WIB.
