Batam Customs Supports First Export Plans via Air Cargo at Hang Nadim Airport

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The plan for the first export via air cargo at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport was greeted positively by Batam Customs.

In the Focus Group Discussion with the theme Pre-Journey of Hang Nadim Batam's First Export, Head of Services and Facilities for Customs and Excise II, Paulus Dwi Jogyastara said, this first export of air cargo could be the first step for Hang Nadim Airport to become a logistics hub that will help economic growth in Batam. 

He also explained related to the process of releasing goods from the Batam free zone.

Starting from the requirements to become an exporter, the obligation of the carrier, submitting export documents to obtaining export approval.   

Director of Hang Nadim Airport and Information Communication Technology, Amran said that the plan for initial export via air cargo could be a momentum to reopen Batam's economy. 

Batam Customs previously made achievements. 

They became the 3rd Best Budget User Authority (UAKPA) Accounting Unit for the performance of the preparation of Financial Statements of 141 Work Units within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) for the 2020 Fiscal Year (TA). 

This achievement is also expected to be an inspiration and motivation for various parties to provide the best for Batam Customs and have an impact on the best service for the community.
