UPDATE March 31, 2021: 5.937 New Covid-19 Cases Spread in 33 Provinces
The government noted that there were additional positive cases of Covid-19 as many as 5,937 new cases within 24 hours until Wednesday (31/3/2021).

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government noted that there were additional positive cases of Covid-19 as many as 5,937 new cases within 24 hours until Wednesday (31/3/2021) at 12.00 WIB.
This addition causes the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to currently reach 1,511,712 people, starting from the first case was announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters on Wednesday afternoon. Data can also be accessed by the public via the Covid19.go.id.
The additional cases were spread across 33 provinces throughout Indonesia except Maluku which didn't record any additional cases.
Based on these data, the five provinces with the highest addition of new cases are West Java (975 cases), DKI Jakarta (965), Banten (950), Central Java (497) and East Java (301).
The same data states that the government recorded 5,636 Covid-19 patients who were declared cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,348,330.
However, the number of Covid-19 patients who died also increased by 104 patients in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 40,858 people.

- West Java: 975 new cases
- DKI Jakarta: 965 new cases
- Banten: 950 new cases
- Central Java: 497 new cases
- East Java: 301 new cases
- DI Yogyakarta: 272 new cases
- South Kalimantan: 267 new cases
- Bali: 200 new cases
- East Kalimantan: 200 new cases
- Central Kalimantan: 168 new cases
- Riau: 160 new cases
