Due to Bad Weather, 3 Planes from Jakarta couldn't Landing at Hang Nadim Airport

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Bad weather in the Riau Islands region caused a number of planes from Jakarta to Batam and Tanjungpinang divert their landings to other airports, Saturday (17/4/2021) afternoon. 

Based on the information collected by TRIBUNBATAM.id, there were four planes that diverted their landings.  

There are two Garuda planes, one Batik Air plane and one Lion Air plane. 

Garuda, Lion Air and Batik Air planes from Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta to Batam's Hang Nadim Airport diverted their landing to Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport in Pekanbaru.

Meanwhile, a Garuda plane that was supposed to land at RHF Tanjungpinang Airport finally diverted its landing to Hang Nadim Airport, Batam. 

This information was confirmed by the General Manager of BUBU Hang Nadim, Beny Syahroni.

"Aircraft affected by weather disturbances and divert to Pekanbaru: Ga152 cgk - bth (Garuda), ID 8864 cgk - bth (Batik), Jt989 pnk - bth (Lion). Then divert to Batam: Ga286 cgk - tnj (Garuda)," wrote Benny via WhatsApp message.
