Weather Forecast for Riau Islands Tomorrow, May 7, BMKG Predicts Rain, Sea Waves Reach 1.25 Meters

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Hang Nadim Batam Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department  (BMKG) released a weather forecast. 

Informed, the weather in Riau Islands tomorrow, Friday (5/7/2021) is generally expected to have light to moderate rain, especially in the morning and during the day. 

"High upper air humidity and low wind speeds support the potential for growth of rain clouds," said Forecaster on duty, Aprilia, Thursday (5/6/2021).

Wind speeds in the Riau Islands region on Friday were estimated to range from 5 kilometers per hour to 20 kilometers per hour.

"For the wind direction, the wind tends to blow from the southeast," she said.  

The wave height in Kepri waters is estimated to range from 0.1 meter to 1.25 meter.
