UPDATE 9 June: Add 7.725 People, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Reach 1.877.050
The Covid-19 pandemic has lasted more than a year in Indonesia. And until now, there is no sign that the Covid-19 case in Indonesia will end.
Data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force as of Wednesday (9/6/2021) at 12.00 WIB showed that there were 7,725 new cases of Covid-19 added in the last 24 hours.
The same data shows that there are additional patients recovering from Covid-19. In the last 24 hours, the number has increased by 5,883 people.
Thus, the number of recovered Covid-19 patients in Indonesia to date has reached 1,723,253 people.
However, the number of patients who died from exposure to Covid-19 also continued to grow. In the period June 8-9, 2021, there were 170 Covid-19 patients who died.
Thus, the death toll from Covid-19 has reached 52,162 people since the start of the pandemic.
With this data, there are currently 101,635 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are undergoing treatment in a hospital or self-isolation. (*)
