Distribution of 2,229 Delta Variant Cases in Indonesia, Jakarta is the Highest
The Research and Development Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Health reported that the Delta variant in Indonesia increased by 132 cases
TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Research and Development Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Health reported that the Delta variant in Indonesia increased by 132 cases on August 27, 2021.
With this addition, the total number of cases of the Delta variant in Indonesia is currently recorded at 2,229.
All of these cases are spread across 33 provinces in Indonesia.
Previously, on August 25, 2021, cases of the Delta variant in Indonesia totaled 2,097 people spread across 31 provinces.
That means, in this period, there are two new provinces that have found cases of the Delta variant.
The two provinces are Southeast Sulawesi and North Maluku.

Currently, the Delta variant is mostly found in the province in DKI Jakarta with 751 cases.
Then, West Java with 322 cases, and East Kalimantan with 299 cases.

Aceh: 18 cases
North Sumatra: 73 cases
Riau: 30 cases
West Sumatra: 75 cases
Riau Islands: 3 cases
Jambi: 1 case
