Nepal Van Java Tourism in Butuh hamlet, Temanggung Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency, Central Java has been reopened since one week ago.
"Still in the simulation stage, according to the recommendation of the Magelang Enchantment Forum under the Magelang Regency Tourism Office," said head of Butuh hamlet, Lilik Setiyawan, Sunday (9/26/2021).
Meanwhile, the re-opening of the Butuh Hamlet for tourists is accompanied by the stipulation of visiting conditions, which are as follows:
- Tourists need to pay attention to the maximum quota of visits, which is around 1,000 people per day
- Must comply with strict health protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, diligently washing hands, and not crowding
- Have been vaccinated at least the first dose
Lilik said that these requirements were in accordance with the direction of the Regent of Magelang Regency, Zaenal Arifin.
Nepal van Java was already crowded with tourists
Although it has only been open for a week, Lilik admitted that the visit to Nepal van Java has been quite crowded with visitors.
About 3,000 tourists have returned to the tourist area at the foot of Mount Sumbing. However, this amount is based on an cumulative calculation on weekday and weekend visits.
