TRIBUNBATAM.id - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno said Rowo Bayu in Banyuwangi has the opportunity to be developed as a tourist destination that brings social and economic benefits to the local community.
The destination, which is located in Bayu Village, Songgon District, Banyuwangi Regency, has become a topic of discussion in recent times because it is suspected to be the original location of the KKN story in Dancer Village.
Not only for that destination, Rowo Bayu, which is now increasingly widely known, can also be used to further promote tourism potential in East Java, especially Banyuwangi.
"We will use the viral story of KKN in the Dancer Village as much as possible. Especially to promote tourism potentials in East Java, especially in Banyuwangi," said Sandiaga Uno in an online Weekly Press Briefing, Monday (5/23).
However, Sandiaga handed back the policy to the local regional head to develop the tourism potential of the area.

Sandiaga ensured that his party would support each region in the context of developing tourism potential, including Rowo Bayu.
Not to be missed, Sandiaga also reminded local governments to compile the do's and don'ts for tourist destinations, especially with regard to local traditions and culture.
