TRIBUNBATAM.id, East Nusa Tenggara - The application of the entrance fee of IDR 3.75 million to the Komodo Island and Padar Island, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), has been postponed until January 1, 2023.
"The East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government provides a dispensation for the next five months or the old tariffs for Komodo Island and Padar Island will apply. The new tariff of IDR 3.75 million will take effect on January 1, 2023," said the Head of the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Tourism Office, Zeth Sony Libing, quoted from Kompas.com, Tuesday (8/9/2022).
Furthermore, Zeth said, the entry tariffs that apply from August to December 2022 are the old tariffs.
So, what is the current price for admission to Komodo National Park?
Based on Government Regulation Number 12 of 2014 concerning Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) Applicable to the Ministry of Forestry, the entrance fee for Komodo National Park is divided into several categories as follows:
- Komodo National Park entrance ticket price
Komodo National Park entrance ticket prices for foreign nationals on Monday-Saturday start from IDR 150,000 per person. On Sundays or national holidays the price starts from IDR 225,000 per person.

Meanwhile, Komodo National Park entrance ticket prices for domestic tourists on Monday-Saturday start from IDR 5,000, and on Sundays or other national holidays starting from IDR 7,500.
- Trekking and wildlife viewing packages price in Komodo National Park
Trekking and wildlife viewing activities in Komodo National Park must be purchased as a package.
Trekking rates start from IDR 5,000 per person, and wildlife viewing rates start from IDR 10,000 per person.
Tourists can see animal life in a number of locations, including Loh Liang on Komodo Island, Loh Buaya on Rinca Island, and South Padar on Padar Island.
- Snorkeling and diving rates in Komodo National Park
Tourists who want to snorkel at the Pink Beach of Komodo Island, Siaba Besar, and Tatawa, will be charged a rate starting from IDR 15,000 per person.
Meanwhile, for diving activities, rates start from IDR 25,000 per person.
The locations are in Batu Bolong, Crystal Rock, Karang Makassar, and Cannibal Rock.
