Thousands of visitors from around Central Java and major cities in Indonesia attended the 2019 DCF event.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Dieng Culture Festival (DCF) 2022 will be held again for public on Friday-Sunday (2-4 September 2022).

Previously, DCF was held behind closed doors and could only be enjoyed virtually in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For those of you who already have the tickets, book lodging and plan to go to see DCF 2022, here are some tips that you can do:

1. Bring a thick jacket

The Dieng Plateau is a mountainous area where the air temperature is lower than the lowlands.

In fact, sometimes upas dew or frost appears when the temperature is cold. You also need to wear a thick jacket if you go to DCF.

In 2019, tens of thousands of people who packed Pandawa Field were unable to warm the air temperature at that time.

2. Walk from the inn

DCF 2022 visitors are advised to walk from the inn to the DFC location, especially during the peak event of the second night.

That's because the Dieng area will be very crowded and cause long traffic jams.

3. Depart early during evening events

The evening event is the series most awaited by DCF visitors. Therefore, usually the field will be immediately crowded as night falls.

DCF visitors are also advised to hurry to the location of the event as soon as night falls in order to get the best viewing spot.

4. Don't drink too much before the evening event

Drinking is important. However, DCF 2022 visitors are advised not to drink excessively ahead of the evening event.
