Indonesia has received tourists from China for the first time from a charter flight that arrived in Bali, Sunday (22/1).

Because, in addition to strictly monitoring the arrival of Chinese tourists, his party will make adjustments if there is a sudden increase in cases.

"If there is an increase in the case of transmission, we will do an adjusment in treatment," he added.

According to Sandiaga, the immunity level of the Indonesian people in general is high.

Thus, there are no adjustments or changes to entry rules for foreign tourists from China, like several other countries.

Regarding the issue of increasing Covid-19 cases in China, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) has also held virtual meetings with the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, the Consul General in Shanghai, the Consul General in Ghuangzhou, and Hong Kong.

Chairperson of the ASITA Bali Regional Management Board, I Putu Winastra, straightened out the rumors that the Covid-19 case in China was high.

According to him, the Covid-19 variant circulating in Beijing in January had dropped and the Covid-19 variant had existed in Indonesia before, so there was no need for concern.
