TRIBUNBATAM.id, NORTH SUMATRA - Batik Air provides 15,912 seats with 102 round-trip frequencies to North Sumatra, from Thursday (23/2/2023) to Tuesday (28/2/2023), to support the super-fast boat race or F1 PowerBoat 2023 on Lake Toba.
Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said, he is optimistic that flights in the North Sumatra network will become a strategic instrument to achieve national development goals, by strengthening inter-regional connectivity.
The flights to and from North Sumatra in question, are through the following options:
- Destination Sisimangaraja XII Airport, Silangit (DTB), from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang (CGK), there are 32 flying frequencies, with a total of 4,992 passenger seats.
- Destination Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang (KNO) from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport there are 50 times the flight frequency with 7,800 passenger seats.
- Destination Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang (KNO) from Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, there are 20 flight frequencies with 3,120 passenger seats.

The aircraft that will be used by Batik Air in the flight service are included in the full service airlines category, such as the Airbus 320-200CEO type aircraft with a capacity of 12 seats in Business Class and 144 seats in Economy Class.
Next, there is an Airbus 320-200NEO type aircraft with the same capacity, as well as a Boeing 737-800NG type aircraft with a capacity of 12 Business Class seats and 156 Economy Class seats.
Every Batik Air passenger on this route will receive food and drinks (inflight meals), 20 kilograms of free baggage for Economy Class and 30 kilograms for Business Class, as well as free inflight entertainment on demand and can be accessed from smartphones and tablets supported by Tripper.
