TRIBUNBATAM.id - Factory of iron screw and Concrete Iron will operate in Batam on Beginning 2020. PT. Sempurna Wahyu Metalindo invests by building the first iron factory in Batam.
Early in establishment of this company will be able to accommodate as many as 300 employees.
Director of PT. Sempurna Wahyu Metalindo, Wahyudi Gautama, commonly called Kerry, said that his party was committed to employing local community and would not recruit workers from abroad.

"There are not many workers, because starting from the smelting process to finished goods using an electrical system," he told Tribun.
He said workings inside the factory which has two workshop buildings all use electricity.
"All use machines." So there are not many operators, only control and operate the system from computer, "Kerry said.
Kerry explained the first iron factory in Riau Islands could later produce 15,000 tons of iron every month.
"So for the production results, we will target 7,000 tons in Riau Islands, Pekanbaru, Riau and parts of Kalimantan," Kerry said.
While another 8,000 tons will be exported abroad, such as Malaysia, Singapore and several countries in Asia.
He also explained that all production materials were from local sources.
"Later the production material will not only be from Shipyard, but from scrap metal collectors we will also receive it," said Kerry. (Tribunbatam.id, Ian Sitanggang)
