TRIBUNBATAM.id - For a long time not used by Marine and Coast Guard Unit (KPLP) parked at Sekupang Domestic Port, Batam City, Riau Islands Province, the condition of ship was awful, Saturday (05/10/2019).
BP Batam asset ship is known to have been parked at Sekupang Domestic port and has not been used anymore.
The ship was weathered with age without any improvement from BP Batam.

Aruni, a Dumai Ekspres passenger who was about to cross from Batam to Dumai, Saturday (05/10/2019) said the condition of this ship which on front said KPLP was sinking.
"This is the condition of ship's body sinking, only the pole to the roof alone. Maybe because the sea water is not deep. If it seems like everything has sunk," said Aruni.
He also said when he was about to leave for dumai the condition of the ship had sunk.
"The incident did not know. What was clear was when I was about to board the ship. It's had sunk," said Aruni.
Regarding the ship, Head of Batam Barlet Sea and Coast Guard (KPLP), said the ship was an BP Batam Asset.
"It was not a KPLP ship even though it had written KPLP, it might have been used by KPLP," Barlet said.
He also said he did not know about the ship.
"Going directly to BP Batam, that's BP Batam's assets," Barlet said.
Separately, Port Public Relations at BP Batam, Mangasi Panjaitan, who was confirmed by Tribunbatam.id, said KPLP's State Ship (KN 325) parked at Sekupang Domestic port was an asset of BP Batam.
"The ship has not been used for a long time. It has been auctioned, but no one wants to take it," said Mangasi.
He also said the KN 325 was an asset of BP Batam.
The ship has been parked at Sekupang Domestic Port for a long time and is no longer in use.
