TRIBUNBATAM.id - Indonesian citizens (WNI) who were repatriated from Wuhan, China, will first be isolated in Natuna, Riau Islands, to ensure they are healthy and free of the Corona virus.
Natuna was chosen as a place of isolation because it was far from residential areas.
"We have a place of isolation far from the population and the chosen one is Natuna," said TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, when releasing the evacuation team at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta, Saturday (1/2/2020).
In addition, Natuna was also chosen because it is a military base that has hospital facilities managed by three TNI dimensions.
Natuna also has an airplane runway adjacent to the isolation location.

According to Hadi, the isolation facility has been equipped with toilet, washing, and kitchen facilities.
While the distance from the isolation facility to a place of residents 5-6 kilometers.
"From the results of the assessment, Natuna has requirements for health protocols, so Natuna was chosen to be a temporary transit location," said the Commander.
The number of Indonesians who will be evacuated from Wuhan is 250 people.
The plane and the evacuation team took off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, at 13.00 West Indonesia Time this afternoon. (*)
