Commemorating 4 Years of his Leadership, Rudi Asks Community to Reduce Meetings in a Confined Space

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  The Mayor of Batam, HM Rudi and Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad commemorated their four-year term of leadership.

By inviting media representatives in Batam to gather at the Press Gathering, at the Embung Fatimah Room, Batam Mayor's Office, Saturday (3/14/2020). 

In a meeting in a closed room, Rudi conveyed various issues that were happening in Batam City. Like water crisis that is being experienced, and the problems of Covid-19 which has become a pandemic in this world.

Regarding Covid-19, Rudi briefly conveyed tips for his employees to not hold a meeting in a closed room.

"For the safety of all of us, it's better that for the time being, there is no need to hold meetings by gathering many people," he said.

According to him, this is important to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus. 

The meeting which took place in the 4th floor hall of the Pemko Batam, Jalan Engku Putri, seemed to be attended by a number of media crew representatives. Ranging from print media, online, television, and radio.

After the mayor's remarks, the event continued with a discussion agenda. The media crew threw questions that would be answered by Rudi and his deputy, Amsakar Achmad.
