TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Corona virus cases in Batam until Friday (05/29/2020) experienced a surge of new cases.
Based on data from Covid-19 Task Force Team, there was a surge of 10 new cases of Covid-19 in Batam on Friday (05/29/2020).
Of the 10 additional positive cases of Corona in Batam, consisting of 5 men and 5 women.
These new cases bringing the total to 120.
10 people are related to each other, all of them are church members in Batam.
The addition of this case, is the result of a swab examination by Batam BTKLPP analyst team, based on the results of ongoing tracing closes contact from the positive confirmed cluster Number 49 which has now been declared cured.
The addition of new covid-19 case in Batam was a blow before the implementation of New Normal in Batam.
Patient's condition is recovering by performing an independent quarantine at his home in Batam City. (TribunBatam.id)
