TRIBUNBATAM.id - As many as 80 shopping centers in the DKI Jakarta area are ready to operate again on Monday (6/15/2020). The re-opening of the mall is in line with the phase of large-scale social restrictions or PSBB transition in the third week in DKI Jakarta.
DKI Jakarta Association of Indonesian Shopping Center Association (APPBI) Chairman Ellen Hidayat said, not all tenants can operate during the transitional large-scale social limitation (PSBB).
There will still be at least 6 types of tenants that cannot operate tomorrow. This relates to the health protocol rules of the government.
"Which can not be opened, cinema, fitness, children's toys, massage, karaoke, body, and facial treatments. The salon may be limited to a haircut," explained Ellen in her statement on Sunday (6/14/2020).
The 80 malls that will open on Monday are: First, 21 malls in Central Jakarta, such as FX Sudirman, Gajah Mada Plaza, Grand Indonesia, Mangga Dua Square, Plaza Atrium, Plaza Senayan, to Senayan City.
Secondly, 26 malls in South Jakarta include Blok M Square, Epiwalk, Gandaria City, Kota Kasablanka, Kuningan City to Lippo Mall Kemang.
Third, 10 malls in West Jakarta, namely Central Park Neo Soho, Lippo Mall Puri, Ciputra Mall Jakarta, Taman Anggrek Mall, until Season Citu.
Fourth, 11 malls in East Jakarta such as Arion Mall, Buaran Plaza, Cibubur Junction, Tamini Square, Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati, to Cililitan Wholesale Center (PGC).
Fifth, 12 malls in North Jakarta including Baywalk Mall, Emporium Pluit Mall, Mall of Indonesia, PIK Avenue, Mahaka Square, to Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading.
Ellen ensured that the re-operation of the mall would be followed by the implementation of a strict Covid-19 health prevention protocol.

The various health protocols that will be applied include the provision of washbasins, hand washing soap, hand sanitizers, mandatory rules for masks to enter the mall area.
Then measuring body temperature, limiting the number of visitors to 50 percent of total capacity, and applying physical distancing rules in the mall.
In fact, Ellen said there are several malls that implement programs 100 percent touchless or without touch.
"For example, at Emporium Pluit Mall, which runs a 100 percent touchless program by holding a hand wash sink, hand washing soap, and automatic hand sanitizer without touch. Similarly, elevator buttons that use sensors so that visitors do not need to touch it," she said.
In addition, Ellen asserted, it would continue to coordinate with all mall tenants to prioritize the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
"Because after all, as part of the elements of the Indonesian people, it is our duty and determination to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 for the sake of our better life together in the future," she said.

"Especially during the re-opening of Central Park and Neo Soho Mall, we will distribute free masks to visitors who do not wear masks when entering the mall area. We will also provide face mask vending machines which can be found at the Central Park Mall Customer Care Center," said Silviyanti.
She added, the mall operating time will be nine hours starting at 11:00 WIB until 20:00 WIB every day. However, tenants who sell basic daily necessities, pharmacy, and banking will open one hour earlier. (*)
