TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling in Batam City together with cinema entrepreneurs held a meeting regarding plans to reopen entertainment venues or cinemas, Monday (12/10/2020).

Head of Batam Culture and Tourism Department ( Disbudpar), Ardiwinata admitted that the plan to open this cinema could be done because Batam's condition continues to improve in the handling of Covid-19.

"We were discussing the readiness to open in the near future. All preparations are ready, because the central and other regions have also started to open, in the near future Batam will also start operating again," said Ardi, Monday (12/10/2020).

Meanwhile, regarding the opening time, the cinema management is still waiting.

The most important thing is that all parties must be ready and able to provide comfort for movie lovers.

Especially in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic, cinemas as a place of entertainment will greatly help the community.
