TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Head of Health Department for Batam Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Dr. Didi Kusmarjadi said as many as 37 workers of PT PCI Batam City, Riau Islands, were declared cured of Covid-19.
This data is data on recovery in two consecutive days, from 29 to 30 October 2020.
"The cluster team noted that 29 PT PCI workers recovered Friday. And the day before, eight people recovered.
This shows that the development of Covid-19 case in Batam City is heading towards a positive trend as more patients have been confirmed cured," he said, Saturday (31/10/2020 ).
The patient who was declared cured has completed a period of isolation and treatment in the hospital.
All PT PCI workers who were declared cured were confirmed asymptomatic.

Just to note, PT PCI conducted rapid test for Covid-19 on 2,310 workers.
As a result, 356 were reactive and 1,954 were nonreactive.
Of the 356 reactive workers, swab tests were examined, and the results were 186 positive.
Meanwhile, Batam City Covid-19 Task Force recorded an additional 20 positive people and 30 people recovered from exposure to the corona virus in the local city, on Friday.
With this addition, a total of 2.748 people tested positive for Covid-19, 2.031 of whom were declared cured, 66 people died and 651 people were being treated.
Didi hopes that the community will continue to prioritize health protocols.
He said, the agent of change is in himself.
"So, always use a mask, wash your hands after your activity, keep your stamina so you are not susceptible to disease.
