TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 pandemic has been running for a year in Indonesia. However, positive cases, and the death rate due to Covid-19 are still increasing.
Based on government data on Saturday (13/3/2021) at 12.00 WIB, there were an additional 4,607 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition has caused the total Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now reach 1,414,741 people, starting from the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters on Saturday afternoon. Data can also be accessed by the public via the Covid19.go.id.
The patient recovered and died
The same data shows that there are additional patients recovering due to Covid-19.
Within a day, the number increased 6,016 people.
Thus, the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered in Indonesia to date has reached 1,237,470 people.

However, the number of patients who died after being exposed to Covid-19 also continues to grow. In the period 12-13 March 2021, 100 Covid-19 patients died.
Thus, the death rate due to Covid-19 reached 38,329 people since the beginning of the pandemic.
From this data, there are currently 138,942 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are undergoing treatment in hospitals or independent isolation.
Apart from that, the government also noted that now there are 61,203 people who have the status of suspects. (*)
