Found Dead! An Employee of Anambas District Government Suspected of Committing Suicide

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  A man with the initials A resident of Kampung Baru, Tarempa Village, Siantan Subdistrict, Anambas island, was found to have committed in suicide at his home on Friday (9/20/2019). 

The man is an employee at the Public Settlements Department of Public Works (PUPR) Anambas Islands Regency. 

Anambas Islands Police Chief, Junoto, when questioned, said that the case was still under the investigation. 

"The man was suspected of suicide," Junoto said to the reporters. 

Anambas Islands Regent, Abdul Haris together with Deputy Anambas Islands Regent, Wan Zuhendra, who is not far from Tarempa Regional Hospital, went to the location. 

Currently, the victims' bodies are planned to be sent to Tanjungpinang and will be buried.

Therefore, the victim's family is in Tanjung Pinang. 

Unfortunately, the body failed to leave due to aircraft that could not operate. 

"Finally, the victim was buried in his wife's family house, in Teluk Mabai, Air Bini Village, South Siantan District," he said.
