Till This Afternoon, Fire Was Still Burning In A Fires Location Near Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The fire was still burning at the plastic waste factory near Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Tuesday (9/24/2019), at 16.17 WIB. 

The flame caused black smoke which was thick enough and soared into the air. 

The buildings that stood on the burned land seemed to have been burned to the ground in the fire. The land was also filled with piles of yellow plastic and foam items.

The location of the fire is right on the guardrail with Soekarno-Hatta Airport

A number of firefighters seemed to be trying to extinguish the fire at various points on the location. 

Local residents were seen standing on the mound of the Airport Toll project to witness the firefighters who were putting out the fires. 

The fire occurred since this afternoon. 

And the fire has not been put out until now. 

"That is right, (fire) near the airport, at 13:25 WIB," said Usup, a member of the Tangerang City Fire Department when confirmed. 

Usup explained, 10 fire trucks were immediately deployed to the location. The fire originated from a plastic waste storage building. (*)
