TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) prevented two people from traveling abroad in connection with the case of bribery rations for fish imports that involving the Director of Indonesian Fisheries Public Corporation, Risyanto Suanda.
The two mens are the Advisor of K-Value Managing Partner Cana Asia Limited, Desmon Previn, and another entrepreneur named Richard Alexander Anthony.
"Prevention abroad carried out in the process of investigating suspected TPK bribery related to the Import of Fisheries with the suspect RIU (Risyanto)," said the Spokesman of KPK, Febri Diansyah, Wednesday (09/25/2019).
Febri said, prevention to go abroad is valid for the next six months starting from now, Thursday (9/26/2019).
Reported earlier, the KPK set the Director of Perindo, Risyanto Suadi and the Director of PT Navy Arsa Sejahtera, Mujib Mustofa as a suspects in bribery cases related to import quotas of frozen pacific mackerel or salmon fish.
In this case, Risyanto is suspected of receiving bribes worth IDR 1,300 from every kilogram of salmon imported by PT Navy Arsa Sejahtera (PT NAS).
Meanwhile, Risyanto promised for import quota to PT NAS of 250 tons in May 2019 with an additional 500 tons for October 2019. (*)
