UNIQUE! The Story of Naruto From Solo, Who Also putting out Fires on Mount Merbabu

TRIBUNBATAM.id - If Naruto in the animated film is known as Hokage or the leader of the Konoha Village, another case with Naruto from Solo, Central Java. 

The original Naruto from Solo was famous as a volunteer who is ready to help those who are being hit by the disaster. 

Some times ago, this original Naruto photos was carrying out a mission to extinguish the fire in Ngangrong, Mount Merbabu was viral on social media. 

When contacted on Thursday (26/92019), it was revealed that the original Naruto Solo had the original name of David Widyatmojo who was a daily hydroponic farmer.

"I do hydroponic farming everyday. But, while farming, I still wearing the cosplay," he said. 

The 27-year-old man chose to join as a volunteer team of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Surakarta, Central Java since 2015. 

According to David, the Naruto costume that he used when serving as a volunteer, especially when working on putting out fires on Mount Merbabu was in accordance with the standard clothing of the search and rescue (SAR) team. 

"It was just a form of Naruto, but it was the standard of SAR team clothes. It was equally orange i just added with the Naruto-style trinkets," he said. 

The Naruto costume that worn by David is made by PMI Surakarta which was prepared for field operations of PMI activities. 

"I am indeed a cosplayer who likes Naruto and Red Cross activities. So, Naruto was indeed prepared for the field operations," he said. 

This is not the first time David has worn a Naruto costume while serving as a volunteer. He said, in 2018, he had worn a Naruto costume while participating in cleaning the Bengawan Solo river. 

David has also served as a disaster volunteer in Lombok. In this humanitarian assignment, David was also using a Naruto costume.

David also told a touching experience while serving as a Naruto in Lombok. 

When he motivated and distributed the school equipment to the children of victims of the Lombok disaster, David suddenly received hugs and thanks from them. 

"They say Thank to me, so they can go back to school again, that's what makes me touched and cryin," he said.
