TRIBUNBATAM.id - Indonesian Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) team together with Batam City Industry and Trade Department (Disperindag) will withdraw unofficial cellphones, aka Black Market (BM) in Batam.

Withdrawal of BM cell phones are central government plans, mobile phones that have not been registered in Indonesia.

Initial plans, will be opened starting next or in the first week of October.

He said, previously from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Trade's team, Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) had held a socialization related to the implementation of policies from this center.

"All cellphones in Batam, Indonesia that will have their IMEI will automatically turn off," said former Head of Batam City Investment and Integrated Services Office (PTSP).

"Poor consumers, buyers," Gustian said.
