Batam Workers Hold a Demo, Reject the Increased BPJS Health Contributions, These Are Their 3 Demands

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  Thousands of workers from several trade unions gathered in front of the Panbil shelter bus, Muka Kuning, Batam City, Riau Islands Province, Wednesday (2/10/2019).

In accordance with the notification of the action, there are three demands of workers who will carry out the demonstration today, Wednesday (10/2/2019).

As for the demands of the workers in Batam namely rejecting the increase of BPJS Health contributions, rejecting the revision of law number 13 of 2003 concerning the employment and Revision of PP number 78 of 2015 concerning the wages. 

Based on the information that received by journalists, several road segments in Batam will be jammed today, Wednesday 2 October, starting at 09.00 WIB until the noon.
