KEPRI region Potentially Rain Accompanied by Lightning and Wind, Check Here For More

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Department (BMKG) Class I Hang Nadim Batam Meteorology Station released the weather forecasts for the KEPRI regions on Thursday (3/10/2019).

Today, the weather in Kepri is predicted to be cloudy to the potential of local rain. 

On duty weather forecasters, Noah D. Ginting said, in general, weather conditions are forecast to rain with mild, moderate to moderate intensity that can be accompanied by the lightning, and strong winds.

"The weather that occurred today is caused by the wind bends, and the high value of the upper layer of humidity in the Kepri region and supports the growth of convective clouds," he said, Thursday (03/10/2019). 

For the air temperature in the Kepri ranging from 23 to 32 degrees Celsius, with an average wind speed of 5 to 25 Kilometers per hour and the humidity of 60 to 98 percent.

In this weather forecast, BMKG does not issue any warnings.

Meanwhile, the potential for the high waves in the waters of Kepri, Natuna and Anambas waters reached till 0.8 meters. 

Meanwhile, for the territorial waters of Batam, Karimun, Tanjungpinang, Bintan, and Lingga, only reached till 0.7 meters. (Tribunbatam.id/endrakaputra)
