TRIBUNBATAM.id - Illegal street racing at Batam Centre, Batam is still happening on Sunday (6/10/2019) early morning.
The location of illegal racing is along Jl Ahmad Yani, precisely from Simpang Frengky to Simpang Cammo, Batam Center.
This illegal racing was done by teenagers.

Their tracks are dangerous, not only for the perpetrators but also other road users.
There is no supervision and firm action from the authorities against teenagers who carry out action at streets.
No police officers who patrol, this made teenagers do the action freely.
Where they start race from the intersection of red lights at Simpang Frengky to Simoang Cammo and return where the action of these young people prevents passing motorists.
A trader said this had become a common sight.
"It's normal for the children on Sunday nights," he told TribunBatam.
"Udah biasa anak anak itu kalo malam Minggu" ujarnya kepada Tribun Batam.
The trader also said there is no strict supervision for this action so the tracks continues.
"If there is no police patrol, that's how it is, the more children like it," he said.
Hasan, one of the drivers who passed the road, said this action of tracks was very disturbing for him who used the road.
"Wow, it's so dangerous, just when they passed who wanted to go through the road, so i waited until they start, very fast," said Hasan.
Hasan hopes that police firmly take action against the action of these tracks.
