The Perpetrators of Wiranto's Stabbing Exposed to Radicalism, Any Relation to JAD

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Indonesian National Police investigated the alleged linkage of the perpetrators of the attack on the Coordinating Minister for Political, Law and Security Affairs, Wiranto, with the Jamaat Ansharut Daulah (JAD).

According to the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General (Pol) Dedi Prasetyo, the two perpetrators of attacking who's already secured by the police were exposed to the Radicalism.

The police secured the two suspected perpetrators, namely SA and FA.

Reporting from Kompas TV, Wiranto was attacked after inaugurating the Campus Building at Mathla'ul Anwar University.

He then wanted to return to Jakarta. However, Wiranto's group stopped around the Menes Square, Pandeglang.

He was welcomed by the local police chief. When he got out of the car, Wiranto was then attacked by an unknown person. 

Suddenly, he was stabbed. A moments after being stabbed, Wiranto fell, almost collapsed. He is seen holding the lower of his abdomen. (*)
